For many East-siders the opening in April 2007 was a welcome occasion as the newest Auto-Lab (since then, 3 more have opened in Michigan!). Many in the area recall the facility as the former Auto Hut, directly across the street from Bommarito’s Bakery, which has served the community well since the 1960’s. After a couple of years of inactivity this location came to the attention of Auto-Lab’s Michigan Master Franchisee, Dave Ziolkowski. He decided it was time for a new quality “Complete Car Care Center” to makes its presence felt in this part of Metro Detroit. Numbering nineteen in Southeast Michigan, Auto-Lab is quickly becoming the place of choice for quality automotive repair and maintenance.
Before and after pictures are available upon request, but our loyal customer base told us that they have been delighted with the improvements to the facility. New signs on both sides of the building serve as a nightly beacon to the community and the clean Auto-Lab logo greets all of our customers. Every surface of the facility has either been replaced, repainted or resurfaced. Our customers now have a comfortable waiting area with a flat screen TV and plenty of reading material. There are even toys for the kids!
We believe in servicing our customers with the finest product and service in the industry. With that in mind we have chosen our suppliers very carefully. We are proud to offer Valvoline oil and chemical products, BG’s performance flush products and NAPA parts. These suppliers are the best in the industry and allow us to offer a 12 month/12000 mile warranty. It is a SAFE decision to bring your vehicle to an Auto-Lab location.
This part of Metro Detroit has thousands of loyal customers who want an honest provider for nearly any type of vehicle either foreign or domestic. Our trained staff, with decades of automotive repair experience, delivers that service daily. We have 10 bays to serve you with the capacity to service vehicles up to 12,000 pounds! We are open M-F from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00-2:00 PM. We want to be the personal vehicle choice of the St. Clair Shores and the Pointe’s!

Our Car Care Club is designed to reward our loyal customers and incent them to do business with us. For a one time charge (much less than you can imagine!) we will change your oil and rotate your tires and provide consistent pro-active maintenance to your vehicle! Additionally we pass on a 10% parts and labor discount to all our CCC members for all repair and maintenance services. This program is assigned to the vehicle. When you sell the vehicle it becomes a selling feature! Pass this great benefit onto your buyer then come in and register your new vehicle and we will sell you the program for ½ of your original price as a renewing CCC member! THIS IS THE BEST DEAL IN METRO DETROIT!
