Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers Expands in Southeast Michigan

(Auburn Hills, MI) Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers continues to expand in Southeast Michigan as it sets to open a new location in Waterford, MI. Owner Fawzi Simon signed on to become a franchisee in May of 2017 and has invested in the renovation of the location, planning to open August 14th.

“The renovation and preparation of this location has proven why franchise systems are highly valuable.”, says Stephen Wilson, President and COO of Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers. “While not impossible, an independent owner trying to do what we’ve done at this location would have been not only difficult, but also would have required more time and a substantially larger investment.

Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers prides itself on the vendor relations that have been established with the franchise for many years. Vendors such as Snap-on, provide equipment and training for staff, parts vendors AutoZone, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto and Motown Automotive, provide parts and a nationwide warranty. Currently Auto-Lab offers a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor.

In addition, Auto-Lab franchisees gain knowledgeable information about the automotive repair industry and what it takes to make a business successful. The franchise support has been a very important aspect to the opening of this location as well as other Auto-Lab locations due to the limited automotive service experience some owners have.

“A lot of prospective business owners feel as though they need automotive repair experience in order to operate an auto repair shop and that is simply not true.”, says Wilson. “We always encourage those who don’t have an automotive background to become a part of our franchise. Some of our most successful locations have owner operators who don’t have an automotive background; however they have the business acumen and expertise that it takes to own and operate a very successful business.”

While Auto-Lab Waterford is set to open in August of this year, Mr. Simon has also already begun expanding his Auto-Lab business portfolio by signing another agreement to open a second store in Clinton Township, Michigan. This location set to open later this year.

Auto-Lab, a Michigan based company in operation since 1989, is a growing auto repair franchise business with an emphasis on being the complete car care alternative to the dealer. The company currently has 25 franchised and corporate locations in Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Florida and Texas. You can learn more about the company at www.AutoLabUSA.com.
